London based DJ Agency SYCK Talent launched in 2015 by co-founders DJ Jez Pereira and Laura. Now with clients all across the UK, Paris and beyond, SYCK is becoming a highly recognisable name in the music and hospitality industry.
Music has proven to be the single greatest connector of people. We work with brands such as Flannels, Gucci, Vogue and venues such as Annabel's, Sexy Fish, Park Chinois, KOKO, The Berkeley to help shape their audible identity with experiences and activations. People don’t buy products and services, they buy how products and services make them feel, that’s where SYCK comes in. We turn guests into fans.
There has been a huge rise in the restaurant/club concept, with more and more people wanting an audio experience whilst they dine. Jez has worked with Richard Caring and his venues for a number of years, carefully curating the music for different environments and clientele. Jez is instrumental in choosing the right sound to create a vibe, for example Sexy Fish has a diverse range of House, Disco and classics whereas Annabel’s has a more sophisticated sound. Something we treasure highly about the agency is our amazing roster of DJs and watching individuals who have been with us for a long time grow and develop into incredible artists with huge potential. By providing them with these consistent gigs, they get to enhance their skills and have more time to work on their artistry. We see just how talented some of these people are and with this in mind, created a management company called YU, where the main focus is nurturing hand picked artists further and providing them with opportuntities that will help them to excel in their careers and on the international club/festival scene.
We are extremely passionate about what we do here at SYCK and YU, and have more exciting avenues such as our events company called Lost in MUSYCK as well as our new record label, SYCK Records. The motivation behind all of these branches is to give artists platforms to succeed, all tied into our main ethos - it’s about the ‘You’, not the ‘I’.
